Risk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and continuously refine the company's risk management frameworks, which encompass market, liquidity, counterparty, and operational risks.

• Drive the strategic enhancement of the internal portfolio management system to guarantee precise representation and monitoring of both firm-wide and book-level risks.

• Work in partnership with portfolio managers to manage risk through proactive advisory on existing positions and the enforcement of risk limits.

• Assist in assessing new trading strategies, protocols, or counterparties from a risk and compliance viewpoint.

• Establish and provide guidance on internal operational and compliance controls from a risk management standpoint, including access management, information flow, and trading conduct.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 - 8+ years of experience in risk management within a trading firm or financial institution.

• Strong understanding of market risk metrics, with practical experience in developing risk management frameworks and relevant risk monitoring tools for a multi-strategy portfolio.

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and their associated risk factors is highly beneficial.

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; advanced professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or compliance certifications (e.g., ICA, CAMS) are a plus.
