This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recognize and document program risks alongside financial, scheduling, acquisition, technical, and operational stakeholders; differentiate potential risks from current issues.
• Evaluate the likelihood, impact, urgency, and interrelations among risks utilizing program-sanctioned methods; suggest priorities and escalate matters to leadership.
• Sustain the risk register with detailed descriptions, assigned responsibilities, mitigation strategies, target deadlines, status updates, and residual-risk evaluations.
• Facilitate risk reviews, monitor progress on mitigation efforts, determine if actions are effectively reducing exposure, and highlight overdue tasks or new concerns.
• Generate concise, accessible risk reports and decision briefings.
• Formulate mitigation strategies that lessen vulnerabilities and enhance resilience, coordinating any resulting alterations with program timelines and financial plans.
• Prepare monthly updates for the risk register along with risk management reports, analyses, or activities.
• Contribute risk insights to regular program status reports and reviews.
• Identify, evaluate, and monitor risks impacting Federal Client screening programs throughout the capability lifecycle.
• Propose mitigation strategies to the Program Manager and Government leaders.
• Bachelor's degree in business, program management, engineering, or a related field, or a comparable mix of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in program analysis, risk management, acquisition support, or project controls, including direct accountability for risk assessments and mitigation tracking.
• Capability to independently manage risk registers, evaluate cost/schedule/performance impacts, facilitate working sessions, and formulate clear mitigation suggestions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong skills in analytical writing, stakeholder coordination, and follow-through.
• U.S. Citizenship is required by the Federal Client.
• Public Trust Clearance.
• Preferred: Experience with acquisition programs, transportation security equipment, or federal program risk reviews.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Project or Power BI.
• Risk management training or certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
