This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee multi-source event feeds from official announcements, ports and carriers, weather updates, geographical information, regulatory changes, credible resources, and internal systems.

• Validate events by verifying against at least two independent sources, resolving inconsistencies, and documenting confidence levels.

• Analyze facts and their implications using supplier websites, tier mapping, component locations, manufacturing sites, and ongoing customer shipments.

• Generate concise, actionable incident reports that include headlines, event specifics, business implications, exposure snapshots, recommended actions, confidence ratings, and follow-up strategies.

• Preserve citation trails with URLs, timestamps, source notes, screenshots, and archived links when necessary.

• Collaborate with commodity managers for fact verification and approval decisions.

• Distribute alerts following established procedures, ensuring version control and change logs are maintained.

• Monitor incidents through various stages: open, monitoring, mitigated, and closed, ensuring regular updates until resolution.

• Enhance and refine content based on feedback from stakeholders.

• Conduct brief post-incident reviews to document insights, thresholds, and escalation procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in risk analysis, market intelligence, or supply chain risk monitoring.

• Preferred experience in geopolitical or operational risk assessment, vendor risk management, or business continuity analysis.

• Familiarity with data visualization or intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is advantageous.

• Strong comprehension of global supply chain operations, manufacturing processes, and procurement systems.

• Knowledge of risk intelligence frameworks, ESG considerations, and incident escalation processes.

• Proficient analytical and reporting skills.

• Ability to work with large datasets and unstructured data effectively.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Proactive approach, keen attention to detail, and capacity to operate under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
