This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provides effective, accurate, and consistent communication to management, internal teams, external clients, and vendors.
• Remains updated on emerging industry fraud trends by examining external resources that outline industry alerts, trends from external financial institutions, and evaluations from industry experts.
• Maintains knowledge of fraud and risk applications as well as systems supported by Velera.
• Adapts to change productively and manages other essential tasks as assigned.
• Delivers training, ensures quality and assurance standardization, and guarantees deployment across all Risk Solutions divisions.
• Prepares well-structured reports that comply with report issuance guidelines and effectively communicates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Represents Risk Engagement Enterprise on committees and teams as designated.
• Offers advisory support for the development and ongoing maintenance of proactive and effective controls in the Risk Engagement infrastructure to mitigate risks to an acceptable level.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the financial services industry is required.
• At least five (5) years of professional experience in risk management and/or project management is required.
• Proficiency in data analytical tools is required.
• Knowledge of multiple payments processing systems is preferred.
• Experience with fraud mitigation tools within the financial services sector is necessary.
• Familiarity with financial institution core processing systems is preferred.
• Strong project management skills.
• An excellent team player capable of collaborating with virtual and cross-functional teams.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or a combination of education and experience is required.
