Risk Control Engineer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Daily Monitoring & Operations: Accountable for the comprehensive daily oversight of transaction risk control strategies, maintaining data dashboards, and executing routine strategy operations to guarantee the effective and stable functioning of the risk control system.

• Risk Feature Mining: Support risk control analysts in processing and extracting extensive amounts of business data; engage in data mining and in-depth analysis to accurately pinpoint abnormal transaction behaviors and potential risk features.

• Strategy Effectiveness Evaluation: Aid in monitoring and assessing the interception effectiveness and false positive rates (FP rates) of current risk control strategies, offering data support for strategy refinement and enhancement.

• Risk Reporting: Contribute to the organization of daily risk control data and assist in drafting business risk analysis reports, along with weekly and monthly updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational Background: Current undergraduate or postgraduate students preferred, particularly those majoring in STEM fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or Big Data.

• Data Skills: Strong data analysis abilities; adept in SQL for effective data extraction from databases; proficient in using Excel for data processing tasks.

• Core Competencies: Highly attuned to data, with exceptional logical reasoning and problem-solving/deconstructing skills; meticulous, detail-oriented, and demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and expression abilities, a great team player, and capable of integrating into the team swiftly.
