Senior Purchase to Pay (P2P) Engagement & Governance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee outsourced P2P operations by tracking KPIs, SLAs, and service delivery metrics to ensure accountability and excellence in operations.

• Initiate continuous improvement projects by pinpointing process inefficiencies, performing root cause analysis, and executing scalable solutions.

• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Compliance, and business stakeholders to align P2P operations with the organization’s strategic goals.

• Establish and uphold robust control environments while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and audit requirements.

• Persuade cross-functional partners and managed service providers to achieve agreed operational goals without direct authority.

• Design and implement training programs for business groups to enhance understanding and adoption of P2P processes.

• Supervise system performance and communication channels to guarantee smooth invoice and payment processing from end to end.

• Lead or participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives and transformation projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in business operations, finance operations, process management, program management, or process enhancement.

• Experience within a Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) and/or Accounts Payable environment.

• Demonstrated experience in managing or collaborating with outsourced service providers or managed services.

• Proven track record in process improvement, operational governance, or workflow design.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong comprehension of end-to-end P2P / AP processes and operational controls.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint with the ability to create executive-level presentations.

• Experience with data-driven decision-making and effective cross-functional communication.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all organization levels.

• Adaptable to work in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for balancing detail orientation and strategic thinking.

• Highly collaborative with exceptional stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in leading or supporting large-scale process transformations or global operational initiatives.

• Background in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments.

• Previous experience in gaming, technology, or global entertainment industries.

• Six Sigma certification or formal training in process improvement.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and P2P tools/platforms.

• Project management certification or proven experience in project delivery.

• Strong commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

• Established ability to build trust and foster alignment among diverse stakeholders.
