Senior Purchase to Pay (P2P) Engagement – Governance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee outsourced P2P operations by tracking KPIs, SLAs, and performance in service delivery.

• Foster continuous improvement by pinpointing process inefficiencies, performing root cause analysis, and executing scalable solutions.

• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Compliance, and business stakeholders to synchronize P2P operations with organizational objectives.

• Establish and sustain robust control environments while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and audit standards.

• Persuade cross-functional partners and managed service providers to achieve agreed operational results without direct authority.

• Create and deliver training programs to enhance business groups’ comprehension and adoption of P2P processes.

• Oversee system performance and communication channels to ensure seamless end-to-end invoice and payment processing.

• Lead or participate in cross-functional process enhancement initiatives and transformation projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in business operations, finance operations, process management, program management, or process improvement.

• Experience within a Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) and/or Accounts Payable environment.

• Proven track record of managing or collaborating with outsourced service providers or managed services.

• Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, operational governance, or workflow design.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end P2P / AP processes and operational controls.

• Proficient in PowerPoint with the ability to create executive-level presentations.

• Experience in data-driven decision-making and cross-functional communication.

• Excellent communicator with the capability to influence at all organizational levels.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.

• Strong problem solver adept at balancing detail orientation with big-picture thinking.

• Highly collaborative with excellent stakeholder management skills.

• Experience leading or supporting large-scale process transformation or global operational programs.

• Familiarity with complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments.

• Previous experience in gaming, tech, or global entertainment industries.

• Six Sigma certification or formal training in process improvement.

• Knowledge of ERP systems and P2P tools/platforms.

• Project management certification or formal experience in project delivery.

• Strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

• Proven ability to build trust and foster alignment among diverse stakeholders.
