Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct risk assessment studies, which include evaluating underwriting information, determining coverage placements, forecasting losses, and analyzing loss data.

• Extract and evaluate claims information to facilitate renewal conversations.

• Verify the precision of policies, modifications/endorsements, audits, and additional documentation.

• Aid in the provision of documentation to clients.

• Support clients and insurance carriers with daily inquiries related to policies, endorsements, audits, certificates, auto ID cards, billing, and claims/loss control services.

• Work in conjunction with Client Executives and/or Client Managers throughout the marketing process.

• Create applications, submissions, proposals, presentations, and service plans for clients.

• Participate in mandatory training sessions and courses.

• Attend and lead meetings/functions with carriers as requested.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies and protocols.

• Cultivate client relationships while delivering brokerage support and risk analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• A degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, and/or Marketing is preferred but not mandatory.

• 0 to 3 years of experience in the commercial insurance sector.

• Familiarity with business office practices and procedures is essential.

• Capability to set work priorities and manage time efficiently.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Willingness to accept responsibility while maintaining focus under pressure.

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.

• Attend training sessions to keep skills and licensing current.
