This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Exhibits the capability to produce high-quality coding for medical records.
β’ Keeps up-to-date with ICD-10 and CPT coding standards, government regulations, official coding protocols, and third-party documentation and billing requirements.
β’ Ensures that all services recorded in the patientβs chart are assigned the correct ICD-10 and CPT codes.
β’ Attains and sustains a 95% accuracy rate in coding while meeting the required productivity standards.
β’ Reviews the daily queue to guarantee that all charts placed in the review queue are addressed and that any necessary corrections are communicated to the facility.
β’ Accountable for coding or processing every chart in their queue within 24 hours.
β’ High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
β’ Over 3 years of experience in HCC Risk Adjustment Coding.
β’ Certification as a CPC or CRC from AAPC.
β’ Experience with EMR systems.
β’ Must maintain certification throughout the duration of employment.
β’ Strong understanding and experience with Federal and State Coding regulations and guidelines.
