Risk Adjustment Coding Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze data to facilitate decision-making, monitor performance, track projects, and communicate with partners.

• Create ongoing dashboards and reports for operational oversight, analytics, compliance monitoring, and decision-making by leadership.

• Examine operational trends, variances, aging, volumes, activity breakdowns, and changes in performance.

• Present findings in clear business narratives with essential takeaways and suggested next steps.

• Prepare executive-ready summaries, presentations, and written analyses that narrate the story behind the data.

• Assist with both recurring and ad hoc reporting, which includes dashboard maintenance, pending work analyses, activity tracking, audit reporting, GenAI-related reporting, CDI tracking, and query tracking.

• Collaborate with leaders and teams to identify reporting needs, resolve data issues, and interpret results.

• Document deliverables, reporting timelines, data sources, process notes, dependencies, risks, and transition plans.

• Manage priorities, adhere to deadlines, escalate obstacles, and make independent decisions within established guidelines.

• Uphold confidentiality and comply with organizational policies and healthcare information requirements.

• Enhance reporting processes, manual workflows, data quality, partner usability, and clarity of deliverables.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, analytics, healthcare administration, operations, information management, or a related field.

• Experience in supporting operations, analytics, project coordination, or administrative tasks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Capability to organize data, create summaries, and assist in producing presentation-ready deliverables.

• Ability to validate data, identify trends, compare time periods, calculate changes, and succinctly explain findings.

• Skilled in crafting written summaries that highlight main insights and recommended subsequent actions.

• Ability to validate calculations, eliminate duplicates, and confirm assumptions.

• Proficient in collaborating across teams and translating requests into reporting or documentation.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive operational, employee, provider, member, business, and healthcare information.

• Experience in enhancing business processes, partner experiences, and operational outcomes through precise reporting and insights.

• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
