Right of Way Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Assist with the acquisition of right-of-way, land leasing, permitting, and provide support during construction.

• Build trust and foster long-term positive relationships between clients and landowners.

• Negotiate and finalize easements, leases, licenses, permits, and ordinances.

• Organize and facilitate meetings with landowners and project stakeholders.

• Deliver regular status updates to project managers regarding land acquisition activities.

• Prepare all necessary agreement documents and/or permitting forms.

• Represent the company at public meetings with governmental agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in examining title work and conducting land acquisitions.

• Familiarity with local, state, and federal statutory requirements related to land acquisitions.

• Capability to work independently in diverse and remote environments.

• Licensed Real Estate Agent in Wisconsin & Minnesota (or a willingness to obtain licensure).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of ArcGIS software and Google Earth.

• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.

• Current valid driver's license and a personal vehicle suitable for fieldwork.
