This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Identify and address challenges within accounts by providing customized solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans aimed at enhancing product demand and improving patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory colleagues, field teams, and home-office staff to meet customer needs and provide access support.
• Evaluate market conditions, competitive landscapes, and cross-functional dynamics to foresee opportunities and address challenges.
• Analyze territory data and market trends to derive insights that support pull-through initiatives.
• Conduct impactful virtual and in-person interactions with customers.
• Lead planning sessions with stakeholders to tackle complex issues.
• Work collaboratively across functions to fulfill customer requirements.
• Provide real-time access support and coordinate with Patient Specialty Services.
• Employ digital tools and multi-channel strategies to tailor outreach efforts.
• Act as the main point of contact for accounts and healthcare providers.
• Foster account relationships and link customers with Novartis resources to enhance patient outcomes.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• Must have experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or similarly complex sales environments within the last 5 years.
• Demonstrated track record of high performance consistently.
• Experience in navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers is essential.
• Strong analytical skills to identify, prioritize, and utilize relevant information to address customer issues.
• Ethical leadership with the ability to advocate for ethical conduct and adherence to company policies and regulations.
• Must live within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geographic area.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Associate level: 4+ years of US military service in a leadership role or limited prior sales experience.
• Territory level: 2+ years of experience in a qualifying specialty pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or similarly complex sales position within the last 5 years.
• Senior level: 5+ years of experience in a qualifying industry or a similarly complex sales role within the last 5 years.
• Executive level: 10+ years of experience in a qualifying industry or a similarly complex sales role within the last 5 years.
• Ability to collaborate across functions within a matrix environment.
• Proficient in effectively communicating clinical product information.
• Customer-facing employees must adhere to applicable customer credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination.
• Successful completion of initial field training, including home study not exceeding 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
