RF Analog Layout Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create layouts for high-frequency analog/RF components utilizing FinFET technology.

• Develop layouts for RF circuits including LNAs, mixers, VCOs, and PLL sub-blocks.

• Enhance routing for high-frequency signals by reducing parasitic capacitance and inductance.

• Implement strategies for coaxial, differential, and ground shielding to minimize coupling and crosstalk.

• Tackle EM/IR reliability for high-current RF pathways and adhere to advanced DRC/LVS standards.

• Apply matching methods for RF differential pairs and passive elements such as inductors and capacitors.

• Work in collaboration with RF designers to achieve targets for gain, noise figure, and phase noise.

• Ensure adherence to color-aware routing and multi-patterning requirements for RF metal layers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in RF layout design at FinFET nodes.

• Profound knowledge of parasitic control for high-frequency circuits.

• Familiarity with EM modeling, substrate coupling, and isolation techniques.

• Proficient in RF-aware EDA tools and post-layout simulation processes.

• Understanding of reliability and aging effects in RF devices and strategies for mitigation.

• Experience with RF sign-off processes and EM extraction tools (preferred).

• Capability to optimize layouts for low phase noise and high linearity (preferred).

• Scripting abilities for automating and verifying RF layouts (preferred).
