Revit Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Accepts tasks, projects, and appointments for the Engineering team via CRM.

• Communicates status updates and drawing revisions with the Engineering Manager and team.

• Produces high-quality initial drawings for customer approval based on information obtained during customer calls with Sales staff.

• Provides updates and confirms completed work within CRM.

• Maintains an active calendar in MS Teams for scheduled tasks and appointments.

• Consults with the Engineering Manager regarding preliminary complex drawings, structural design, and technical challenges.

• Updates and finalizes sign-off drawings produced in AutoCAD that comply with established production drawing standards.

• Creates and modifies drawings and blocks for special designs for data extraction purposes.

• Locates backup documentation for special parts to assist purchasing/estimating for unique designs.

• Communicates any special requirements to the team, ensuring that custom product designs are appropriately addressed.

• Reports any discrepancies identified in the sales order or drawings to the relevant Design Manager to avoid recurring errors.

• Ensures accurate REVIT data extraction for review and estimation purposes.

• Fosters a positive, team-oriented work atmosphere that is in line with the company’s culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting, or a related field.

• An Associate degree is preferred.

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in a CAD/Engineering setting.

• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• A professional, courteous, and customer-focused demeanor and attitude are essential.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, along with a willingness and capability to learn new applications as necessary.
