This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Make final decisions on publications by assessing the scientific credibility of submitted manuscripts and their appropriateness for visualizing the protocol.

• Evaluate new submissions to confirm that the manuscript aligns with the journal's scope and publication standards.

• Employ prompt engineering techniques to verify reviewer reports for relevance, thoroughness, and conformity with journal standards, ensuring consistency while upholding editorial quality.

• Utilize custom AI tools, tailored GPTs, and prompt-based workflows to conduct pre-QC checks, identifying formatting discrepancies, missing sections, language clarity, and adherence to guidelines prior to peer review.

• Facilitate a swift publication process in close collaboration with the Production team, ensuring accepted manuscripts move efficiently through the production pipeline.

• Maintain timely editorial workflows by coordinating with the peer review and editorial teams to meet review and decision deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Ph.D. in life sciences, chemical sciences, or engineering.

• Over 3 years of experience in editorial review and submission-to-acceptance processes.

• Previous experience in scientific publishing or peer review is advantageous.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong scientific and technical vocabulary.

• Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to delivering precise, high-quality content.

• Openness to learning and utilizing automation/AI-assisted tools for enhanced efficiency.
