This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Oversee the daily publication of price assessments for Black Sea grain and oilseed, which includes CPT and FOB pricing for Ukrainian wheat and corn, Russian wheat, sunflower oil, and barley.
• Ensure that all assessments adhere to IOSCO standards, Fastmarkets methodologies, and relevant price specifications.
• Provide guidance on pricing decisions, review assessments, and maintain a robust market-based methodology.
• Generate original, forward-looking market content along with analytical commentary.
• Lead a team of price reporters by setting objectives and conducting performance reviews with the Regional Managing Editor.
• Mentor and coach team members while facilitating onboarding and ensuring continuity of coverage.
• Foster a positive and high-performing team culture.
• Interact with traders, exporters, merchandisers, and other market participants through calls, meetings, conferences, and trade events.
• Identify potential opportunities for new price launches and broaden Black Sea and European coverage.
• Present insights at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
• Assist with cross-regional EMEA Agriculture & Biofuels projects and global editorial initiatives.
• Ensure that proper procedures and documentation are followed when launching, modifying, or discontinuing prices.
• Act as a liaison with compliance for IOSCO-related inquiries while upholding PRA standards.
• Profound, hands-on understanding of Black Sea and European grains and oilseeds markets, including fundamentals, trade flows, pricing dynamics, and global supply chains.
• Experience in price reporting or journalism within commodity markets.
• Capacity to produce thorough, market-driven assessments under tight daily deadlines.
• Exceptional writing skills that are strong, clear, concise, and analytically astute.
• Familiarity with IOSCO principles and standards of credible price reporting agencies.
• Excellent organizational skills with the confidence to coordinate and support a small team.
• Comfort in engaging with senior traders, exporters, merchandisers, and other market participants.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a strong commitment to editorial integrity and accuracy.
• Previous experience in team leadership or line management within a PRA, media, or commodity trading context.
• Proficiency in Ukrainian, Russian, Romanian, or Bulgarian is a significant advantage.
• Experience in presenting at conferences, webinars, or industry events.
• Understanding of financial and physical derivatives related to grains and oilseeds.
• Willingness to work flexibly and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
