This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and source leads for mortgage opportunities.
• Establish and nurture business relationships with real estate agents and other sources of leads.
• Evaluate potential loan markets and create referral networks to identify loan prospects.
• Promote CCM products to individuals and organizations, highlighting CCM services that cater to customers' needs.
• Meet with loan applicants to gather necessary information for loan applications and address inquiries related to the process.
• Assess applicants' financial situations, credit histories, and property evaluations to determine the viability of loan approvals.
• Clarify the various types of loans and credit options available to customers, along with the terms associated with those services.
• Generate comprehensive loan applications along with the required documentation.
• Enhance loan applications and documentation by informing applicants of any additional requirements.
• Assist customers by answering inquiries and addressing their requests.
• Manage customer complaints and take appropriate measures to resolve issues.
• Serve as the main point of communication with real estate agents or referral sources.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to help resolve issues with mortgage applications.
• Stay informed about industry knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities, reading professional literature, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Actively engage in mortgage sales activities, such as attending closings, open houses, and conducting CCM seminars/trainings, along with other lead-generating initiatives.
• NMLS License mandated under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.
• Comprehensive understanding of reverse mortgages and experience in guiding clients through the reverse mortgage process.
• Familiarity with retail product philosophy, policies, underwriting, procedures, documentation, and systems.
• Proven experience in proactively soliciting new business.
• Experience with Encompass is preferred.
• Knowledge of various mortgage products and programs.
• Strong analytical skills to assess credit requests and identify trends within the marketplace.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficient in standard software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
