This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Serve as the intermediary between essential client contacts and insurance providers.
• Manage patient health information (PHI) while ensuring the privacy and security of confidential and proprietary data.
• Assess and review workers’ compensation claim payments utilizing EnableComp’s proprietary software, systems, and tools.
• Investigate, request, and obtain medical records, invoices from implant manufacturers, and other supporting documents.
• Submit necessary documentation alongside hospital claims to insurance companies for timely and accurate reimbursement.
• Conduct prompt telephone follow-ups with payers to verify receipt of claims and documentation, facilitating reimbursement.
• Prepare initial bill packets or appeal letters for workers’ compensation and submit them with the necessary documentation.
• Execute additional duties as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 1–2+ years of experience in healthcare billing or collections.
• At least 1 year of client-facing/customer service experience.
• Preferred 1+ years of experience in workers’ compensation billing and collections.
• Intermediate knowledge of insurance payer/provider claims processing and data requirements.
• Proficient in computer skills and basic office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be taken into account.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

• Ability to sustain stable performance under pressure and effectively manage stress.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently without direct supervision.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven experience collaborating with external clients, showcasing strong customer service skills and business acumen.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Capability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
