This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Revenue Recovery Associates play a crucial role in maintaining Accounts Receivable (AR) within acceptable parameters by proactively pursuing all outstanding claims, including resolving denials and appealing for additional payments, while ensuring that patient/client billing information in the designated software is precise.

• Facilitate effective communication among team members regarding errors in claim creation and trends associated with reasons for denials or outstanding claims.

• Guarantee the accurate submission of client claims.

• Weekly distribution of billing reports to all clients.

• Conduct daily collections review and monthly reporting, along with recommendations for billing audits.

• Oversee and follow up on the status of submitted claims and necessary paperwork.

• Detect lost revenue through AR cleanup and follow-up processes.

• Verify the accuracy of data, compile information, and convert it into various formats.

• Identify and suggest potential revenue challenges to optimize reimbursements in line with facility agreements.

• Perform additional job duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical billing or insurance is necessary.

• Proficiency in office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Experience in Home Health Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is required.

• At least 1-2 years of billing experience in home health or hospice is preferred.

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and Medicare Advantage billing processes.

• Ability to verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.

• Knowledge of Medicare Notice of Admission (NOA)/Notice of Election (NOE) and final claim procedures.

• Understanding of authorization processes.

• Experience with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is preferred.
