This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The Revenue Integrity Program Manager plays a key role in enhancing hospital and professional revenue, pinpointing potential revenue loss while ensuring adherence to charging and billing regulations.
• Engaging directly with leaders from clinical departments, Clinical Department Chairs, and Directors of Finance & Administration (DFA) at the School of Medicine.
• Aiding in the precise capture of charges, recognizing areas for improvement, and collaborating closely with physician leadership and Compliance to deliver education and training.
• Performing both prospective and retrospective evaluations/audits of charge capture methodologies in clinical departments.
• Spearheading initiatives to enhance revenue capture and alleviate the burden on providers.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or field from an accredited institution (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience directly related to the role.
• Expertise in hospital and professional revenue cycle operations.
• Skilled at analyzing revenue data to uncover trends and opportunities, with the ability to communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.
• Strong comprehension of coding standards and current regulations from third-party payers.
• Familiarity with computer systems, particularly Epic Care and related interfaces.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in identifying problems and resolving issues.
