Revenue Cycle Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement best practices for pre-billing, billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes.

• Assist with accounts receivable operations while working under the guidance of the Learning and Development Leader.

• Train, oversee, and refine policies and procedures related to the revenue cycle.

• Support agencies in formulating and applying accounting policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with RC Portfolio Leaders to create training opportunities for staff members.

• Use ticketing software to monitor and analyze trends related to support and educational needs.

• Develop and sustain reporting metrics to identify agencies requiring additional training and educational support.

• Formulate methods that are engaging and easy to understand.

• Build and nurture positive working relationships with various stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance in billing and collections per payor contracts and adjust training programs as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience in healthcare billing and collections management.

• Background in home health and/or hospice operations.

• Proven experience in LMS development with skills in configuration.

• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment while demonstrating effective communication, negotiation, and public relations abilities.

• Proven capacity to accurately manage detailed information.

• Ability to work tactfully and collaboratively with colleagues, peers, service center personnel, referral sources, and payers.

• Demonstrates creativity, autonomy, assertiveness, flexibility, and teamwork in fulfilling job responsibilities.

• Familiarity with Home Care Home Base, Waystar, Availity, Medicare Administration Contractors (MACs) portals, etc., with the capability to train staff on software systems and processes.
