This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Aid in collecting and comprehending business requirements from stakeholders to facilitate BI solutions.

• Construct basic SQL queries for the extraction, transformation, and analysis of datasets.

• Employ data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI to develop straightforward yet impactful reports and dashboards.

• Acquire and implement best practices in data modeling and ETL processes to maintain data integrity and accuracy.

• Work together with senior team members to enhance and optimize reporting solutions.

• Generate and sustain fundamental interactive visualizations in Tableau and Power BI.

• Distill complex data sets into clear graphics and prepare data for visualization.

• Offer support in investigating new technologies and emerging BI platforms.

• Assist in the implementation of these technologies while gaining insights from senior team members.

• Cultivate foundational skills in BI platforms, address basic technical challenges, optimize performance, and ensure functionality.

• Support the development, debugging, and troubleshooting of SQL queries, Tableau/Power BI dashboards, and other reporting functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field is mandatory.

• A minimum of six years of relevant technical experience is required, including 4 years in an Epic EHR reporting environment.

• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling: Capability to construct complex queries and design efficient database schemas.

• Advanced skills in data visualization tools: Expertise in creating detailed and interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.

• Strong programming skills: Advanced knowledge of SQL for sophisticated data manipulation and analysis.

• Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications: Proficiency in understanding business needs and translating them into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Capability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.

• Demonstrated experience with Epic EHR data and revenue cycle management.

• Certification in Epic Clarity Data Model and Revenue Data Model is mandatory.
