📋 Description

• Oversees, completes, and monitors the credentialing process for providers and facilities with payers.

• Manages the credentialing and re-credentialing applications for healthcare providers.

• Sends, reviews, and confirms credentialing applications.

• Inputs and maintains provider details in an online credentialing database system.

• Monitors license and certification expiration dates for medical staff to guarantee timely renewals.

• Addresses and resolves inquiries related to credentialing information, processes, or statuses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree; a relevant combination of education and experience will be taken into account.

• Current Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) certification from the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), or to be obtained within two (2) years of hiring.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare.

• At least one (1) year of experience in payer credentialing.
