This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take charge of daily revenue cycle management within physician-practice operations.

• Identify deficiencies in existing billing, coding, claims, denials, payment follow-up, collections, and reporting workflows.

• Oversee and enhance the performance of internal billers, outsourced RCM teams, and specialized billing resources.

• Establish a framework for accountability and clear escalation paths to ensure that issues are addressed promptly.

• Collaborate with physicians and practice teams in a service-oriented manner, effectively communicating requirements and their rationale.

• Aid in refining RCM processes across multiple locations in Houston and Atlanta.

• Assist with future system cleanup and integration initiatives involving platforms like eClinicalWorks and Epic.

• Clearly report issues, metrics, risks, and improvement strategies to company leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.

• Familiarity with physician-practice, ambulatory, specialty healthcare, MSO, platform, or similar multi-site healthcare operations.

• Practical expertise in billing, coding, claims, denials, accounts receivable, collections, payment posting, payer follow-up, and RCM metrics.

• Proven experience managing or supervising billers, coders, outsourced RCM teams, vendors, or cross-functional RCM workflows.

• Ability to audit work, identify breakdowns, challenge ineffective processes, and find solutions related to payer, coding, billing, and reimbursement.

• Effective communication style with a focus on provider service.

• Comfort in a growth-stage healthcare environment where improvements in systems are necessary while business operations continue seamlessly.

• Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and sense of ownership.
