This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Lead and implement both strategic and tactical initiatives throughout OhioHealth’s revenue cycle operations.
• Plan, schedule, manage budgets, communicate effectively, oversee change management, mitigate risks, and report on project performance.
• Collaborate with project managers from Information Services, vendors, and departmental teams.
• Oversee system upgrades and introduce innovative technologies.
• Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Assist in the commercialization of revenue cycle services, initiate new sites and services, and integrate professional and vendor solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, track progress, prepare budgets, organize meetings, and provide status updates.
• Design project team membership, implementation strategies, and steering committee roles.
• Identify and propose solutions to obstacles that hinder timely project completion.
• Direct the activities of the Revenue Cycle project team.
• Offer project leadership, consultation, and implementation guidance for new projects and significant system enhancements.
• Report project advancements to OhioHealth leadership.
• Conduct research on hospital and revenue cycle business operations while understanding application system features and functions.
• Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and monitor KPIs and ROI.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, including patient access, billing, coding, claims management, and reimbursement processes.
• Familiarity with hospital patient accounting systems and adherence to regulatory requirements and payer guidelines.
• Proven experience in leading complex projects in a healthcare setting.
• Background in enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
• Ability to analyze data and discern trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Capacity to engage stakeholders at all levels and translate technical or financial concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Epic EHR and revenue cycle management platforms is highly preferred.
• Availability for 40 scheduled hours per week.
