This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for efficient billing practices to ensure timely payment for services rendered.
• Foster collaborative partnerships with payor billing departments.
• Confirm client eligibility and submit monthly claims and invoices.
• Address denied or rejected claims by conducting account research and analyzing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Utilize a phone system application to handle incoming calls effectively.
• Access various web portals for research and data collection.
• Manage the revenue cycle from charge creation to the resolution of outstanding accounts receivable.
• Ensure timely and accurate submissions of invoices, including the generation of monthly charges.
• Investigate and rectify claim denials and rejections through Clearinghouse or payer portals.
• Adjust patient demographics, charges, adjustments, and payments as necessary.
• Process assigned reporting cards and tickets.
• Achieve KPI and quality objectives while participating in additional projects as assigned.
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or a related field.
• Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience is acceptable.
• Familiarity with portal, invoice, and EDI billing methods.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work both independently and within teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
• Experience with the Accounts Receivable follow-up process.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
