This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete setup, maintenance, and payout validation processes in CaptivateIQ for all quota-bearing roles.

• Act as the main contact for representatives regarding compensation-related inquiries, disputes, and escalations — eliminating the need for intermediaries.

• Oversee and manage the compensation data records, including start dates, ramp schedules, OTE and quota assignments, as well as plan versioning.

• Collaborate with People Ops and Sales leadership to distribute, track, and archive pay plan acknowledgment forms.

• Supervise account assignment and goal-setting data, ensuring consistency between CRM data and commission calculations.

• Direct the monthly commission calculation cycle, guaranteeing the accuracy, documentation, and timely delivery of all payouts.

• Reconcile commission outputs with CRM data, identifying and resolving discrepancies prior to payout.

• Prepare commission accrual inputs in collaboration with Finance for month-end closing procedures.

• Maintain a thorough audit trail for all compensation calculations, adjustments, and communications.

• Work closely with our Salesforce Architect on the design, modeling, and system-level modifications of compensation plans — taking administrative responsibility to allow him to concentrate on strategy.

• Engage with Sales leadership to convey plan modifications, quota adjustments, and program updates in a clear and proactive manner.

• Partner with Finance on forecasting compensation expenses, accruals, and budget versus actuals analysis.

• Assist the People Ops team with the onboarding of new hires from a compensation perspective: communicating plans, managing documentation, and configuring systems.

• Identify and implement enhancements to the commission calculation and communication workflow to minimize manual effort and reduce the risk of errors.

• Manage and update our compensation documentation library, which includes plan documents, FAQs, and administrative standard operating procedures.

• Participate in CaptivateIQ system upgrades, new plan launches, and automation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in sales compensation, commissions administration, or revenue operations.

• Practical experience with CaptivateIQ or a similar commissions platform (such as Xactly, Spiff, Varicent, etc.).

• Strong proficiency in Salesforce — capable of independently pulling, validating, and interpreting CRM data.

• Highly skilled in Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable handling large data sets and performing reconciliation tasks.

• Exceptional attention to detail — adept at identifying errors before they escalate into issues.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven track record of articulating complex compensation mechanics clearly to representatives.

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Finance and Sales leadership.

• Previous experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth environment is preferred.
