Revenue and Billing Compliance Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and offer billing guidance to assist operational leaders in launching new services and charge codes.

• Identify potential areas for precise and thorough charge capture.

• Track, inform, and aid functional departments in executing payer and regulatory policy updates.

• Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle leaders to guarantee accurate telehealth billing and reimbursement.

• Work with compliance and revenue cycle teams to review the accuracy of professional claims.

• Oversee and resolve charge router discrepancies.

• Team up with clinical leaders to sustain charge reconciliation processes.

• Supervise Revenue Cycle AI solutions for compliance and correctness.

• Investigate regulatory and payer policies to support appeals related to global denial trends.

• Manage payer denial trends for prompt resolution or escalation.

• Ensure timely resolution of government payer audits.

• Relay audit volumes and escalations to the compliance team.

• Handle payer portal administration.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare compliance.

• 3 years of experience specifically in physician billing and coding.

• Possession of a nationally recognized physician coding certification.

• In-depth knowledge of billing, coding, regulatory, and payer policies, including telehealth billing requirements across both commercial and government payers.

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong investigational abilities.

• Capability to work independently.

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

• Required experience with the Epic practice management system.
