Revenue Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive revenue recognition process in accordance with ASC 606, ensuring precise and prompt reporting.

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting closing activities, which include revenue reviews, journal entries, accruals, variance analysis, and reconciliations related to accounts receivable, revenue, and commissions.

• Develop and implement scalable processes and systems for order-to-cash workflows, ensuring alignment between technical policies and operational processes without adding unnecessary complexity.

• Collaborate with the Technical Revenue Team to analyze and interpret complex customer contracts to ascertain the appropriate revenue treatment.

• Prepare documentation that is audit-ready and assist during external audits.

• Monitor internal controls pertaining to revenue and enhance them where needed.

• Work closely with FP&A for revenue forecasting and variance analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• CPA License required.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

• Previous experience with Netsuite, Stripe, and Salesforce is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in revenue accounting, ideally within a SaaS or technology setting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proven ability and willingness to meet critical business deadlines.
