This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee revenue recognition processes in line with ASC 606 and relevant GAAP guidelines.
• Develop and sustain annual Standalone Selling Price (SSP) pricing models.
• Record and evaluate quarterly revenue adjustments, encompassing open item calculations.
• Compose technical accounting papers and formulate new revenue policies as required.
• Analyze credit impacts and determine the necessity for credit reserves in compliance with accounting regulations.
• Conduct thorough RFP and contract evaluations to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant revenue treatment.
• Manage monthly reconciliation and reporting of consolidated revenue from Oracle to the General Ledger.
• Guarantee the completeness and precision of revenue reporting via analytical reviews and variance analysis.
• Aid in quarterly and annual closing processes pertaining to revenue.
• Assess contract terms to ascertain the correct revenue recognition treatment.
• Support annual external audits by providing documentation and analytical support.
• Develop and improve internal audit processes related to revenue compliance.
• Maintain current, comprehensive revenue process documentation, including controls and workflows.
• Integrate newly acquired entities into established revenue processes, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new SKUs/products, ensuring production environments conform to tested setups.
• Identify opportunities for automation, enhanced efficiency, and improved compliance within revenue operations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• More than 5 years of experience.
• Must have technical accounting expertise.
• Capability to provide senior management with risk assessments related to their actions.
• Strong computer skills and in-depth knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, with experience leading ASC 606 implementation projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to independently resolve complex issues.
