This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collaborate with clients to gather essential information for the preparation of annual reports.
• Assess documents submitted by clients to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans that include only rollovers and plan stock utilizing Excel and administrative software.
• Employ administrative software to conduct 401(k) testing and reporting.
• Make proactive reminder calls and send emails to clients throughout the plan year reporting process.
• Prepare necessary 401(k) plan government filings, such as the IRS Form 5500, using filing software.
• Provide education to clients on the management of their 401(k) plans and associated documents.
• Share insights and simplify complex topics for better understanding.
• Deliver training on concepts relevant to a Retirement Plan Administrator I.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset towards problem-solving.
• Proficient in customer service, organization, and teamwork.
• Adequate mathematical and analytical capabilities.
• Competence in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Preferred: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, finance, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of 401(k) plan structures, ROBS, and IRS/DOL Regulations is favored.
• Capacity to thrive in an independent work environment and demonstrate self-direction.

• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must satisfy work-from-home criteria to qualify.
• Completion of continuing education based on current certifications is required.
