This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Conduct scheduled diabetic eye examinations and retinal screenings at both provider locations and patient residences.
• Utilize company-provided retinal imaging devices effectively.
• Assist in closing gaps related to eye exams and overall quality assurance.
• Complete all required company training prior to performing exams independently.
• Maintain skills through continuous training opportunities.
• Oversee daily scheduling of eye exam appointments.
• Confirm appointments with both practices and patients.
• Organize travel logistics as needed.
• Collaborate virtually with team members, internal partners, customers, providers, payers, and care teams on non-appointment days.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with various stakeholders.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, reporting, patient outreach, and overall customer success.
• Safeguard PHI, PII, and Guidehealth intellectual property by adhering to security policies and procedures.
• Willingness and capability to travel daily, up to 100%, to provider practices.
• No previous experience in eye exams or imaging is necessary; comprehensive training and equipment will be supplied.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• An associate degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
• A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare environment is necessary.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, quality measures, medical billing, or coding is advantageous.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and healthcare-related systems or applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities are required.
• Capacity to meet strict deadlines is critical.
• Ability to work collaboratively with management, colleagues, customers, providers, payers, and care teams.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
• Must provide an internet connection with a minimum download speed of 100 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Certification or licensure as a healthcare professional, such as CMA or LPN, is preferred.
• Travel time is compensated.
