Retina Sales Account Manager, New England

📋 Description

• Drive sales growth and ensure the successful adoption of CYKLX™ within Retina Specialty accounts.

• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders within practices.

• Provide product and clinical education to relevant parties.

• Implement territory sales strategies effectively.

• Oversee territory planning and engage customers proactively.

• Assist with ordering, billing, inventory management, and reimbursement requirements.

• Analyze market dynamics and sales trends to inform strategies.

• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and other cross-functional teams.

• Meet and surpass territory sales goals, activity metrics, and distribution targets.

• Implement selling tactics and promotional strategies to introduce CYKLX™ to Retina Specialists.

• Conduct in-office visits, product detailing, and staff education sessions.

• Develop consultative relationships with Retina specialists, technicians, office managers, practice leadership, benefits verification personnel, and billing staff.

• Aid in the implementation of intravitreal injection protocols that utilize CYKLX™ as a pre-injection anesthetic.

• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and territory-level educational programs.

• Facilitate approved educational programs and meetings for physicians and staff.

• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation effectively.

• Analyze territory sales data, market trends, and competitive activities to refine strategies.

• Maintain accurate documentation in CRM systems, including call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.

• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to align priorities, strategies, and growth initiatives.

• Provide valuable feedback from customers to sales leadership, marketing, and medical teams.

• Support national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot programs, and conference activities.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• Manage the territory budget, covering travel, samples, and promotional materials.

• Participate in team training, national meetings, and ongoing skills development sessions.

• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director of Retina.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales.

• At least 2 years of experience in buy-and-bill therapeutics or medical device sales.

• Eyecare experience with a proven track record with Retina Specialists is highly preferred.

• Solid understanding of total account management in complex product sales pull-through.

• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and driving sales outcomes.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven collaboration skills and experience working with Field Reimbursement Managers and Medical Science Liaison teams.

• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory, with overnight travel as necessary.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Ability to legally operate a company vehicle.

• Willingness to travel within the territory over 90% of the time.

• Capability to manage long drives, short flights, and overnight stays.

• Ability to accurately understand and communicate technical information.

• Capacity to follow instructions, adhere to work rules, and comply with company policies, safety, and security practices.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage typical workplace demands.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Ability to apply judgment and reasoning to work-related challenges.
