This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive the growth of sales and the effective adoption of CYKLX™ within Retina Specialty accounts.
• Establish and nurture relationships with Retina specialists, technicians, office managers, practice leadership, benefits verification staff, and billing personnel.
• Provide product and clinical education while assisting in the implementation of intravitreal injection protocols.
• Execute sales strategies, selling tactics, and promotional initiatives at the practice level.
• Conduct in-office visits, offer product detailing, and provide staff education.
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Oversee territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities within the territory.
• Maintain documentation in the CRM system, including call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Assist with in-office ordering, inventory management, billing, and reimbursement processes.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and marketing and medical teams.
• Provide customer feedback to sales leadership to inform strategies.
• Support national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot programs, and conference events.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Manage the territory budget, travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Participate in team training sessions, national meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director, Retina.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales.
• At least 2 years of experience in buy and bill therapeutics or medical device sales.
• Eyecare experience with a proven track record of success calling on Retina Specialists is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of total account management in complex product sales pull-through.
• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Field Reimbursement Managers and Medical Science Liaison teams.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory daily, with overnight travel as required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Willingness to travel within the territory over 90% of the time, which may include long drives, short flights, and/or overnight stays.
• Ability to accurately understand and communicate technical information.
• Capability to follow instructions, adhere to work rules, and comply with company policies regarding safety and security.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage typical workplace demands.
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to apply sound judgment and reasoning to address work-related issues.
