This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive retention strategy aimed at converting one-time purchasers into dedicated, long-term customers.
• Oversee the customer journey through Email, SMS, Push notifications, and Loyalty programs.
• Enhance engagement, encourage repeat purchases, and boost profitability for Shapermint and Truekind’s customer base of over 12 million.
• Establish quarterly roadmaps, spearhead testing and optimization efforts, and utilize data-driven insights to increase LTV while minimizing churn.
• Manage and expand Retention channels (Email, SMS, Push, WhatsApp) specifically for Apparel brands.
• Direct strategies encompassing onboarding, transactional communications, winback efforts, and loyalty initiatives.
• Maximize effectiveness by coordinating messaging, segmentation, and frequency to mitigate fatigue and reduce unsubscribes.
• Collaborate with Growth, Creative, Data, and IT teams to implement campaigns and automated workflows.
• Conduct weekly competitor benchmarking to guide creative calendars and strategic direction.
• Set quarterly goals and initiatives that balance innovative approaches with precise execution.
• Track and present key metrics such as repurchase rates, conversion rates, and LTV/CAC, while identifying risks, obstacles, and opportunities.
• Ensure timely and scalable delivery of campaigns and projects, maintaining clear visibility for all stakeholders.
• Cultivate a test-and-learn culture to unveil new growth prospects.
• 7+ years of experience in retention marketing, preferably within digital-first or e-commerce settings.
• 5+ years in leadership positions overseeing cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in leading impactful retention strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data to derive actionable insights.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills across various functions.
• Comprehensive understanding of CRM, lifecycle management, and retention strategies.
• Excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities, balancing strategic vision with execution.
• Dynamic, ambitious, and inquisitive—constantly testing and exploring AI and emerging technologies.
• Experienced in mentoring, empowering, and holding teams accountable for their performance.
• Proficient in English (mandatory); Spanish is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with analytics tools; knowledge of SQL/Data Science is advantageous.
• Nice to have: Basic understanding of front-end tools, tracking systems, or experience working with engineers.
