This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create email and SMS content throughout the entire customer journey, encompassing welcome messages, abandonment notifications, post-purchase communications, replenishment reminders, subscription upsell messages, winback efforts, and cancel-save strategies.
• Take ownership of the weekly campaign calendar copy for both prospects and active subscribers, which includes crafting subject lines, preview text, body content, and calls to action (CTAs).
• Conduct tests on subject lines, offers, and messaging angles by formulating hypotheses, creating variations, analyzing the results, and integrating successful elements into ongoing flows.
• Transform effective acquisition strategies into retention-oriented messages, highlighting the core product benefits, clinical authority, and the founder's narrative.
• Develop tailored messaging for first-time buyers, subscribers, and previous customers.
• Ensure that all claims comply with supplement and men's health regulations, following the approved claims guidelines.
• Collaborate with the designer and implementer to ensure that the copy, layout, and overall build are cohesive.
• Work within a small in-house retention team alongside a designer and implementer, focusing on writing for specific segments and revenue goals.
• At least 3 years of experience in direct response copywriting for direct-to-consumer (DTC), ecommerce, consumer brands, or agency settings.
• A portfolio showcasing significant email and SMS work.
• Proven ability to write subject lines and body copy that yield measurable results, such as open rates, click rates, revenue per recipient, or conversion rates.
• Capability to write in a defined brand voice based on research materials.
• Familiarity with Klaviyo or a similar email service provider (ESP), including flows, segments, and dynamic content.
• Strong grasp of consumer psychology and effective persuasive communication techniques.
• Aptitude for managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
• Experience in writing for subscription or replenishment models, including cancel-save and dunning communications.
