Part-Time Copywriter – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Create original content for promotional initiatives across email, social media, paid advertising, and websites.

• Develop messaging centered on products that effectively communicates credit card advantages, rewards, fees, and terms.

• Generate content aimed at educating cardholders, managing accounts, and facilitating lifecycle communications.

• Write both short-form and long-form copy tailored to diverse audiences and platforms.

• Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure alignment between copy and creative direction.

• Confirm that all copy complies with financial regulatory standards.

• Uphold brand voice consistency across all customer interactions.

• Work closely with Legal & Compliance to identify regulatory issues prior to launch.

• Balance persuasive marketing with transparent disclosure of terms, rates, and limitations.

• Integrate feedback from Legal, Marketing, and Product teams.

• Oversee multiple projects concurrently while adhering to tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional copywriting experience in credit card, financial services, or fintech sectors.

• Demonstrated ability to produce copy for email, paid media, social channels, and websites.

• Profound understanding of credit card products, benefits, reward systems, fees, and consumer behavior.

• Excellent editorial skills, including strong command of grammar, tone, clarity, and brand consistency.

• Familiarity with financial compliance and regulatory standards.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with overlapping campaigns and promotional schedules.

• A portfolio showcasing copy related to credit cards or financial services.
