
Retail Sales Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and implement the complete sales cycle for new grocery retailers.
• Identify and engage regional and enterprise grocery chains throughout the West and Central U.S.
• Formulate a territory strategy based on your target account lists and establish multi-threaded outreach plans.
• Connect with C-suite executives to foster relationships.
• Recognize key decision-makers and create action plans to strengthen client interactions.
• Design and execute strategic account plans aimed at maximizing revenue potential and ensuring enduring customer success.
• Establish and nurture robust client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to retailers seeking to enhance their digital capabilities.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to key decision-makers.
• Utilize sales data and market insights to pinpoint expansion opportunities and refine sales strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to facilitate smooth onboarding and ongoing client engagement.
• Provide accurate sales performance forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility in Salesforce.
• Gain a deep understanding of Swiftly’s business and our clients through various sources.
• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
• Over 7 years of experience in grocery retail, retail media, adtech, or digital advertising sales.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new logos within the grocery or retail sectors.
• Extensive knowledge of regional and enterprise grocery operators, loyalty platforms and first-party data, retail media networks (both onsite and offsite), and/or digital circular and promotional ecosystems.
• Proven ability to sell to executive leadership.
• Excellent negotiation, business case development, and closing capabilities.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in Salesforce and sales forecasting tools.
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt in a rapidly growing, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional listening, questioning, presentation, and negotiation skills, with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a cross-functional setting.
• Advanced proficiency in computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Salesforce).
• High level of expertise in analyzing information and providing recommendations based on data.
