Retail Operations Advisor, Crop Protection & Seed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement yearly sales strategies to meet Crop Protection & Seed budget objectives, advising Local Co-ops on pricing, product distribution, forecasting, and value-based selling to enhance margins and competitiveness.

• Spearhead business discovery efforts to uncover operational deficiencies and growth prospects, crafting customized, data-driven solutions that promote incremental sales and bolster Local Co-op performance.

• Collaborate with Local Co-ops to improve inventory management, forecasting precision, and sales trend analysis, reducing end-of-season inventory while facilitating agile retail decision-making.

• Take ownership of the execution, communication, and reconciliation of FCL-driven marketing initiatives, enabling Local Co-ops to utilize FCL and manufacturer promotional tactics, loyalty programs, and digital tools to enhance revenue and customer engagement.

• Supervise supply chain coordination, demand forecasting, and reconciliation processes, proactively addressing shortages, allocating products as necessary, and supporting logistics and customer service to ensure retail continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 6-9 years of operational and/or sales experience, including at least 3 years in the crop protection and seed sector.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business (a combination of relevant education and experience may be acceptable).
