Retail Merchandising Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage and take responsibility for a team of field merchandising representatives, which includes direct oversight of the Retail Merchandising Field Supervisor.

• Monitor daily operations through continuous communication with the RM Field Supervisor and review of key KPIs and reports to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Track performance indicators and consistently report on team effectiveness in relation to defined KPIs.

• Collaborate with the field supervisor to successfully plan and implement special projects.

• Work together with the field supervisor to establish performance targets and guarantee smooth daily operations.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancing merchandising strategies, suggesting and executing new initiatives. Conduct regular coaching sessions to help team members achieve and surpass their objectives.

• Oversee performance evaluations, pinpointing strengths and areas for improvement within the team.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and supporting the professional development of each team member.

• Collaborate with the team to address challenges in the field, encouraging effective problem-solving methods.

• Prepare and deliver performance reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

• Demonstrated experience in retail merchandising, team leadership, or field operations.

• Strong knowledge of performance metrics and KPI tracking, with the capability to analyze and convey insights effectively.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• An inherent coach who can inspire and motivate field team members to realize their full potential.

• Familiarity with reporting and performance management software or tools is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time to work with team members in the field and oversee field-based projects.
