This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the channel strategy for Walmart Connect, encompassing campaign structure, budget distribution, and testing plans.
• Recognize significant opportunities to enhance performance by analyzing initial pilot results and performance metrics.
• Create playbooks tailored to the channel for campaign setup, optimization, and reporting purposes.
• Convert campaign insights into clear, actionable suggestions for internal stakeholders and clients when necessary.
• Take ownership of hands-on execution for Walmart Connect campaigns, including setup, trafficking, optimization, and pacing.
• Construct and oversee campaigns for Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and DSP where applicable.
• Conduct daily performance monitoring and optimize against key performance indicators (ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rate).
• Diagnose performance issues and swiftly identify root causes utilizing data analysis.
• Set up reporting frameworks and dashboards to monitor performance and highlight insights.
• Collaborate with the Head of Paid Media and cross-functional teams (Client Services, Creative, Analytics) to ensure seamless campaign execution.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Walmart Connect, aiding in campaign planning and troubleshooting.
• Work together with internal stakeholders to align media strategies with overarching campaign objectives.
• Engage in client-facing discussions when necessary to represent strategy and performance metrics.
• Keep abreast of updates, betas, and best practices for Walmart Connect, actively presenting new opportunities.
• Evaluate performance and pinpoint optimization prospects based on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Continuously enhance internal processes to boost efficiency, scalability, and performance results.
• Lead the creation of training resources and enablement sessions for internal media buyers.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in paid media, with direct hands-on involvement in retail media networks (Walmart Connect is highly preferred).
• Proven experience in managing and optimizing campaigns with hands-on execution ("in platform" execution is essential).
• Strong comprehension of retail media KPIs, attribution models, and optimization strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to convert data into actionable insights and strategic plans.
• Experience in developing playbooks, training materials, or enhancing skills within internal teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous setting with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with additional retail media networks (Amazon Ads, Target Roundel, etc.).
• Agency background managing multiple campaigns/clients.
• Experience in client-facing roles.
