Retail District Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and provide support to a high-achieving field team to ensure surge coverage and carry out project assignments throughout the assigned territory.

• Guarantee that the territory is adequately staffed and ready for deployment by recruiting, onboarding, and sustaining an active pool of qualified representatives.

• Promote consistent, timely, and precise execution by tracking progress through reporting tools, performing field and store visits, and promptly addressing any issues that arise.

• Collaborate with internal teams to uphold accurate documentation and ensure timely submissions that facilitate payroll processing and client billing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience is required.

• Over 5 years of experience in retail selling and merchandising with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies.

• A valid driver’s license and the capability to drive for extended periods.

• Willingness to travel overnight.

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays (for example, during demos, food shows, or special client programs).

• Ability to work in extremely cold environments (such as refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores).

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify issues and create effective solutions.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other workplace communication platforms.

• Preferred: Experience in managing a Multi-System Operator (MSO) company.

• Logistics experience is a plus.
