This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide strong leadership and management to the Retail Coverage Merchandiser/Lead Merchandiser team within your designated geographic area. This encompasses interviewing and selecting candidates, onboarding and training new associates, overseeing performance and career development, addressing conflicts and personnel matters, and offering coaching and support.
• Cultivate and sustain a comprehensive understanding of the company's business model, client and customer expectations, as well as the specific details of the work processes.
• Dedicate at least 50% of your time to in-store work to ensure a complete grasp of business and project requirements.
• Oversee the completion of assigned tasks within the deadline while ensuring high-quality outcomes. Review project specifics to confirm that schedules are realistic and attainable, and verify that supporting documentation is current and accurate.
• Delegate tasks to the team and ensure that all assignments are supported adequately. Track progress, audit work, address queries, resolve issues, and adjust resources as necessary. Guarantee the provision of all essential materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Comprehend and enhance selling effectiveness within assigned territories. Identify training needs, desired improvements in systems and work processes, and maintain a balanced approach to store set/surge work and retail store coverage.
• Collaborate with store personnel and your team to achieve and uphold merchandising excellence. Discuss schedules and changes, meet objectives and expectations, and foster effective working relationships. Actively notify management of any unsafe behaviors or conditions to avert injuries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies by directly managed associates. This includes the proper maintenance of all company-owned equipment, accurate and timely expense reporting, and activity reporting in accordance with company guidelines.
• Relay retail territory responsibilities to the MEI admin team to ensure precision in reporting systems. Utilize technology effectively and accurately, including MEI, to communicate retail priorities and coverage analyses while maintaining an effective feedback and measurement system.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Associate degree is preferred.
• Some college education along with prior management or supervisory experience, with a minimum of 2+ years in the industry.
• Previous experience as a sales agent, in retail, customer service, or reset responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, and leadership abilities. Must possess effective communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
• Quick to learn and adaptable to changing work environments.
• Valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to drive a vehicle for extended periods.
