Retail Associate – PT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Assist each customer in navigating Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience.

• Suggest suitable accessories and inform customers about the benefits of products.

• Generate leads for industrial sales.

• Meet and surpass daily productivity and sales targets.

• Ensure the sales floor is well-presented, including store signage and cleanliness standards.

• Stay proficient in product knowledge, technical standards, and operational guidelines through ongoing learning.

• Promote a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to organizational standards and legal regulations.

• Provide direct assistance in daily retail operations.

• Keep up-to-date with RWSC electronic communication tools.

• Establish, adhere to, and uphold organizational quality system standards.

• Represent and uphold the core values and policies of Red Wing Shoe Company.

• Perform additional tasks as necessary.

• Cultivate collaborative relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience is required.

• Must be at least 18 years old within 30 days of application.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Must be results-oriented.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Proficient in computer usage.

• Comprehensive understanding of Red Wing Shoe Company’s mission, values, and organizational structure is desirable.

• Knowledge of profit and loss is a plus.

• Problem-solving skills are advantageous.

• Familiarity with retail footwear is preferred.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Capable of bending/squatting to lace shoes, lifting overhead, twisting, climbing a ladder, and standing for extended periods.

• Able to perform housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, waxing floors, washing windows, using disinfectant chemicals, disposing of trash, managing recycling, and installing/maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays.

• A satisfactory background check is required.

• Must work in a retail store setting.
