This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Address inquiries from patients and caregivers regarding respiratory therapy, equipment, and treatment plans.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with respiratory equipment such as ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and nebulizers remotely.
• Remotely troubleshoot enteral equipment.
• Perform patient assessments and educate on therapy protocols and equipment usage.
• Accurately document all interactions and interventions in the EMR system in a timely manner.
• Assist with cross-licensure initiatives and ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Participate in the On-Call rotation as necessary.
• Stay informed about the latest best practices in respiratory therapy and equipment.
• Manage and troubleshoot calls while in the queue.
• Act as the Encore/Nexus Coordinator for your region by attending weekly Nexus calls to coordinate follow-up calls addressing compliance issues identified by the Encore/Nexus staff.
• Acquire compliance reports for HFCWO patients and upload the documentation to Brightree.
• Contribute to the STOP Report and Non-Compliance Report for open sales.
• Assess patient experiences to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Provide timely and precise information to patients and family members, taking appropriate corrective actions to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Foster and maintain positive working relationships with patients and their families.
• Organize follow-up visits in line with company policies and standards.
• Appropriately triage field issues following company standards and training policies.
• Ensure accurate and prompt documentation of patient concerns and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of PromptCare’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and apply them consistently.
• Assist all branches with virtual vent follow-up visits when required.
• Always comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and SOPs.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure in relevant states (New York and New Jersey); willingness to pursue cross-licensure (company-sponsored).
• CRT or RRT certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; home care experience is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of DME equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical clinical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in EMR systems and basic PC applications.
• CPR certification is required from the Red Cross or The American Heart Association.
• Membership in a professional society is a plus.
