This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Support the CPM team with daily operations and implement sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
• Foster customer relationships, seek new business prospects, and handle account management responsibilities.
• Discover new customer leads, engage in prospect outreach, and convert leads into sales.
• Organize and coordinate customer sales efforts alongside the team.
• Arrange and deliver introductory calls and capability presentations for potential customers.
• Generate leads, cultivate referrals, and reach out to potential clients through various channels.
• Respond promptly to leads identified as potential sales opportunities.
• Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and concerns while enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
• Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights in the CRM.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the CPM management team.
• Research, analyze, and relay technological, demographic, financial, regulatory, and competitive factors impacting sales strategies.
• Engage in trade shows, seminars, and other promotional events.
• Assist in crafting responses to RFPs and follow up on quotes and proposals.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with key customers and the Partnership Management team.
• Present company products and services in a professional manner during off-site interactions.
• Stay informed about company products and services.
• Uphold safe, clean, and organized work practices.
• Collaborate effectively with all employees and contribute positively as a team member.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A BA or BS degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training in business development, sales, or marketing.
• Preferably, experience in the healthcare, clinical research, or service-related sectors.
• Relevant experience with a Contract Research Organization is advantageous.
• A strong interest in the respiratory field is beneficial.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to learn and utilize company-specific software.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for industry conferences (approximately 4-5 per year).
• Professional demeanor and appearance suitable for the work environment.
• Knowledge of the respiratory, pharmaceutical, or CRO sectors is a plus.
• Successful completion of a sales training program within three months of hire is required.
• Ability to meet specified physical requirements, including occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
