This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Proactively source and schedule resources for Professional Services projects in accordance with the project timeline and the specific technical skill set required for each position.

• Effectively manage the master calendar to optimize utilization, revenue, customer satisfaction, and opportunities for enablement.

• Address scheduling change requests from Project Managers and adjust the calendar with each iteration as needed.

• Analyze SOWs and additional information provided by a pre-sales engineer to assess resource needs.

• Act as the administrator for the centralized scheduling tool.

• Recognize opportunities that require outsourcing and collaborate with Partner Enablement to source and schedule subcontractors.

• Create Work Orders for subcontractor resources.

• Perform weekly demand and capacity planning exercises, advising business leaders on the type of resources necessary for onboarding to meet demand.

• Provide business leaders within the organization with regular forecasts on utilization and delivery.

• Grasp the roles and domain skills relevant to the technical practice you represent.

• Update and sustain the engineering skills database.


⛳️ Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited university, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Scheduler, Project Analyst, or Resource Manager within a Professional Services Organization, ideally within an IT-focused company.

• Extensive experience operating within an ERP and/or PSA environment.

• Familiarity with project scheduling software.

• Capability to analyze an SOW and Project Plan to ascertain resource requirements and allocations independently.

• Excellent relationship-building skills coupled with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities; a proven self-starter who excels both independently and in a team setting.

• Comfortable managing numerous priorities and adapting to changes while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Demonstrates creativity and collaboration with senior leadership to achieve organizational objectives; assertive and persistent in approach, yet respectful of others, with the skill to navigate conflicting organizational priorities and agendas.

• Proven analytical skills with the ability to utilize data and facts for informed decision-making.

• Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred.

• Familiarity with Smartsheet is preferred.
