Resolution Paralegal, Workers' Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Demonstrated capability to efficiently resolve and negotiate a high-volume caseload.

• Engage in effective communication with all parties involved in a case.

• Examine and assess case files to formulate legal strategies.

• Independently evaluate case value, including the review of QME reports and conducting depositions when necessary.

• Skill in calculating demands such as Total Temporary Disability, Permanent Disability, Future Medical, etc.

• Manage case negotiations and settlements.

• Willingness to travel to designated trial locations as required.

• Additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of legal experience in Workers’ Compensation.

• Proven history of meeting or surpassing settlement metric expectations.

• Strong understanding of California Workers’ Compensation regulations.

• Proficiency in EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze legal documents on digital platforms.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to effectively multitask with minimal supervision.

• Bilingual proficiency (English + Spanish) is preferred.

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams).
