Residential Field Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Responsible for managing residential field claims that necessitate on-site inspections.

• Assessing damage and assigning the appropriate contractor or supplier as needed.

• Engaging with the insured to offer guidance that aids in the settlement of claims.

• Oversees and resolves residential field claim files in line with operational standards.

• Prepares estimates and negotiates with contractors regarding residential repairs.

• Manages expenses related to all claim settlements.

• Provides assistance to internal and external colleagues during peak periods as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a field adjuster or in claims handling is preferred.

• A college or university degree is considered an asset.

• Experience as an estimator in the restoration industry would be advantageous.

• Completion of CIP or IICRC courses is a plus.

• HAAG certification (as a reviewer or inspector) or an equivalent course is beneficial.

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of home insurance policy coverage.

• In-depth knowledge of residential construction procedures and restoration practices.

• Strong focus on client service.

• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Proficient negotiation skills.

• Familiarity with residential insurance as it pertains to a claims environment.

• Working knowledge of Xactimate Estimating software and Xactanalysis.

• Understanding of the construction process and materials.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong computer proficiency.

• Clean driver's abstract.
