This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Serve as a local on-site representative for the program and company to residential clients.
• Install energy-efficient equipment, perform energy efficiency (re)audits, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications, and gather technical data across a specified area.
• Assist Program Managers in their initiatives to persuade stakeholders to sell and/or implement energy efficiency and demand response retrofits or services.
• Offer technical advice, guidance, and training regarding installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement per client specifications.
• Diagnose technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Foster and maintain relationships with residential customers and contractors, ensuring timely and standard-compliant installation of necessary energy efficiency measures.
• Document and monitor contractor interactions while confirming that installations meet required program savings.
• Educate and train contractors regarding the program.
• Provide personalized and continuous support to property owners and contractors to ensure project compliance with contracts.
• Maintain records of customer and contractor interactions to comply with program requirements.
• Offer feedback and status updates to program personnel.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• An Associate’s degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
• BPI, QCI, or HERS Certification is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred (but not mandatory).
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in residential energy conservation, ideally within the Weatherization Assistance Program, residential construction, or a related field, along with a passion for energy conservation, is essential for this role.
• Proficiency in computer applications and experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, reporting, sales, writing, and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities are required.
• Must be able to lift thirty-five pounds (35lbs) and possess the physical capability to inspect confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, hatch doors, etc.
• Should have the ability to use a tablet and mobile devices for audits and communication purposes.
